Ray: "I am impressed with the engineering and the amount of thought that went into the unique design of the Solo Dock components and how they fit together. Our Solo Dock is over 10 years old, and after I power wash it the dock still looks like new. It is truly maintenance free. I sink pipes into the lake bottom at two outside dock corners and use rubber mooring snubbers to tie our 33' boat to the dock. I do not worry about the boat even during the worst of storms."

It seemed to be the best fit for my lakeshore with a rocky shoreline and steep bank that would not accommodate a roll away docking system. "We absolutely love this dock. It's a great dock. Little kids don't slip and the dock can be in the sun and it doesn't get hot on your feet.
If you live on a lake with changing water levels you can also easily change the formation of your dock."  (When the water level drops in Fall you can take a T or L section and move it to the end of the dock, allowing you to move your boat out farther and keep your boat in the water later in the season.)
